Brain Decoding as a Framework for Understanding Neural Dynamics

This presentation summarizes the use of brain decoding as a data-driven approach to study the temporal and spatial organization of neural information. To meet real-world constraints, we developed an interpretable deep-learning framework capable of distinguishing cognitive states while extracting dynamic patterns that differentiate individuals and groups. Overall, the framework positions brain decoding as a tool for understanding brain function rather than merely inferring labels.
